We supply and install Apple CarPlay and Android auto stereos, navigation systems, Audio systems, Dash Cameras, vehicle tracking and Alarms, split charging and electrical systems, trimming and fabrication for storage and living, lighting and sound deadening. Demonstrations are always available in store, we have a showroom in Shoreham. You are welcome to visit us and connect your phone to a range of multimedia, Apple CarPlay / Android Auto head units.
If you wish to listen to a sound system, we recommend that you listen to one of our demo cars, come armed with your favourite music, and this will give you an insight into what is achievable in your vehicle.
After any purchase, we continue to provide the backup and help you need, so if you require any tweaks to the audio or need help with software updates, our experienced team will be available to help.
This is a family business, originating in Hove during the 1960s and has been providing this service for over 50 years in the Sussex area.
Our heritage

Circa 1959 – Denmark Mews, Hove. Mrs Huet (Chris and Peter’s mum) hand-painting the first Huets van at our original workshop near Hove Station
1961–67 – The Monmouth Street, Hove workshop, opposite today’s Urchin pub, was home to Huets in the early ’60s and the site of many pioneering installations
The workshop at Monmouth street Hove in the early 60s. The road no longer exists due to redevelopment, St Andrews school is built on the site , It can be placed though, as it is opposite the rear of what was the Belfast and is now the Urchin pub in Hove. The coach is likely having PA fitted which Pierre Huet built from scratch for coaches.
1967–1989 – Our Rutland Road workshop (opposite what is now Talk Money) marked the next chapter in Huets’ growth. Pictured here in the late ’80s is our Golf van with its Zender bodykit, a reminder of the style and innovation of the time
1995–2005 – The Richardson Road premises, now Drury’s Coffee, were home to Huets through a decade of installations and growth before our next move
1995-1996 - Huets wins multiple awards at the ICE (In-Car Entertainment) Championships, showcasing our innovation and craftsmanship in audio installations
2006 – Opening of the Worthing shop at the top of Heene Road, running alongside our Hove/Portslade premises to serve a growing customer base
Today – Huets’ Shoreham headquarters: continuing over 60 years of innovation in car audio, security, and specialist installations
