Having considered several options to improve my cars’ sound system a conversation with Robert one of Huets main engineers convinced me I had found the right people for the job. The car was left with them for a week and the result is nothing short of spectacular. I have re-discovered my interest in music and have spent many hours catching up on music I had forgotten about. Manufactures Product Demo cars have changed greatly over the past 20 years
Originally they had to be loud! this progressed to too loud to even sit in the car while it was playing!!
These cars just needed lots of Kit and thick wooden panels etc

After that came visual attraction with the car paintwork was being more important than the system, this got to ridiculous levels with cars that couldn’t even be driven.

Sound quality was always Kenwood’s forte and it was time to come away from the arms race and make product demonstration the main reason for a demo car.

This was when Kenwood heard of Huets reputation for quality builds and this coincided with the emergence of all in one front screen Multimedia units and smaller amplifiers
The result was a high quality door and boot build by Huets in our new Subaru WRX; this used the same paint finish as the body work and left the boot usable despite 4 subs 4 head units and 3 amps!

Class had come back and the system sounded HiFi again

Having received so much great feedback on the Subaru the next project with Huets was on the newly released VW Scirocco
This time the brief was to make it look fitted as standard but still turn heads, despite the Scirocco having a tiny boot 4 subs 3 amps and a 26inch lcd TV were fitted by the Huets team, all with rugged custom built fixings . Importantly all this was expertly covered in VW look materials, with most admirers not being able to see the join,

Inside the front doors were totally redesigned to accommodate factory fitted look speaker systems including the physical movement of switch gear
Perhaps the cleverest modification was to the rear seat panels which now accommodated 8 inch subwoofers while still keeping (moved) rear armrests! But the best part was the sound quality, the sirocco was now one of the best sounding demo cars ever produced and still managed to have a wow factor.

Both the Sirocco and Subaru managed to survive the hard treatment that demo cars receive without the need for any build repairs showing just how good the installs were.

This year the sirocco has been face lifted but the system build remains unchanged, apart from new Kenwood electronics, as it is just so good.

We can thoroughly recommend the Huets team for simple or mega system builds, they really do care about the look and sound of their work.
